Hotel Accommodations at the Workshop Venue
A block of rooms as been reserved at the Historic Inns of Annapolis for the nights of November 1-6, 1998. The Historic Inns, located at 58 State Circle in Annapolis, consists of three charming individual inns, with 128 guest rooms all restored and furnished in original and reproduction antiques. At the same time, rooms offer all modern conveniences, including private baths, private phones, cable TV, and data ports. All these facilities are cluster around two circles in Annapolis, convenient to a the town's quaint shops, historic attractions, and its colorful waterfront.

Attendees should make their own reservations with the hotel. When calling the hotel, please indicate that you a with the IGS Network Systems Workshop to receive the room rate of $96.00 (U.S., tax inclusive) for a single occupancy or $116.00 (U.S., tax inclusive) for double occupancy. The Historic Inns are convenient to many local restaurants and attractions in Annapolis. Therefore, a rental car is probably not required for attendees of the workshop staying at this hotel. However, valet parking is available for overnight guests only; the fee is $12.00 per day per car. A loading zone is in front of the Governor Calvert House.

Room requests will be filled on a first come first served basis, based on space availability. Individuals will be placed at the Governor Calvert House (or one of the Inns' two other hotels, the Robert Johnson House and the Maryland Inn a short walk from the main meeting facility in the Governor Calvert House) until the block of allocated rooms is full.
