Latvian University A013a
A013a is one in a family of Latvian University event timers, capable of measuring time intervals as small as 10 picoseconds. Time intervals up to ±209 milliseconds can be measured with 2 ps linearity and with 10 ps absolute accuracy. For laser ranging applications, an external timebase (frequency) should be used to maximum SLR data accuracy. A panel input lets you connect any external 10 MHz source as a timebase. University of Latvia, Institute of Electronics and Computer Science web page http://www.edi.lv/develop/develop.htm contains contact information. Its ease of use, low cost, and low jitter characteristics are the primary benefits of this device. The prime drawback of the A013a for SLR application is its maximum time-of-flight (i.e. 209 milliseconds). For more information (e.g. specifications, options, price) read the A013a Brochure. Also visit Yuri Artyukh's web page at: The General TOF Device BEST Practices Practices also apply to the A013a.
